The "I MALATESTA" Italian Language and Cultural Centre, organises
individual combined and group-courses of Italian at all levels from absolute beginners to
advanced. The school, which is situated in the city centre is open all year round and
offers Italian courses periods of two, three, four or more weeks. Lessons take place every
morning from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., from Monday to Friday.
The school has seven basic levels of study, from beginners to advanced learners, and
students are placed in the most appropriate course level according to the result of a
brief introductory test. The aim of the courses is to provide students with a
through practical knowledge of the present-day usage of the Italian language in
conversational, social contexts, for travel, for everyday life, for recreation and
leisure. Classes are made up of a maximum of eight students, and all teachers have
university qualifications and are specialists in the teaching of Italian to foreigners.
I MALATESTA uses a technique of instruction which relies on constant
conversational contact between students and the teacher in Italian, following a logical
progression of grammatical forms, linguistic structures and elements of vocabulary.
