Pimsleur English Language Program
for Arabic Speakers

An efficient audio training system designed to teach spoken English language communication skills to Arabic speakers within a very short period of training.

The Pimsleur English audio program uses a natural mode of interactive communication -- questions and answers; statements and rejoinder; give and take -- beginning with the most-frequently-utilized vocabulary native speakers use in their everyday conversations with each other. These are the most useful words and structures every language learner needs to insure communication.  It is like having a personal tutor.

This course consits of thirty half hour lessons which are tipically completed within a month at the rate of one half-hour lesson each day.

The thirty half hour lessons of the level 1 will take you from the beginning to the intermediate-low level of communication on the ACTFL scale.   This level is characterized by the ability to participate in simple, direct conversations on everyday topics, in everyday situations; by being able to satisfy immediate needs, such as ordering food and making simple purchases; and by being able to establish rapport with strangers in a foreign country.
