Scuola Tricolore is an Italian language school located in the historic centre of Genoa - the biggest medieval city centre of Europe. Students do not come to Italy only to study Italian and learn about Italian culture, but they also come to relax, mingle, eat, drink and laugh. Thus, Scuola Tricolore is about studying Italian with lots of fun and interaction.

The School is located right in the city centre, in the University area. A very central location; just a few steps to the boulevard, shops, bars, etc. The school has 5 brand new classes and a separate relax room for the students where free internet is always available, wireless internet and where you can take a coffee, read a newspaper, borrow a book from the school's large library or talk to your fellow students. The atmosphere of the school is open, friendly and familiar. The philosophy has always been to create a study centre surrounded by pleasure and fun. Thus, the method of teaching, as the teachers' selection, is to emphasise and support this philosophy. You will be positively surprised!

There are 6 different levels and there are three different course types. Scuola Tricolore offers a standard group course of 20 hours a week, a 30 hours a week group course, individual courses of 2 or 4 hours a day, 3 or 5 days a week, mixed courses (group lessons and ind. lessons) but also special Business Italian, specialised conversation classes, CELI/ CILS preparation and Italian cooking courses.   The duration of the courses is available from one week up to a year. The maximum class size is 8 students (group course), to guarantee the quality in terms of personal attention. All classes start every other Monday.

Besides the different courses, the school organizes recurring and several cultural, sportive and fun activities. Some of them for free, others at a small fee. Among the school's activities you could expect cooking courses, dinners, city walks, free seminars, watching Italian movies, sailing trips in the weekend and wine tasting. At Scuola Tricolore, teachers and staff like to be your guide in discovering Italy, its people, its habits and culture and they will do the utmost to make your stay an experience never to forget!
