For the last 86 years people from all over the world, of different professions and age groups have studied German at the University of Vienna, situated in the heart of the city. The German courses and the wide range of other activities and excursions offer plenty of opportunities to improve and apply your language skills, to make new friends from all over the world and to enjoy the atmosphere of Austria’s largest University.

The University of Vienna offers various different course programmes during the academic year (October - June) and in summer for beginners to proficiency students.
We also hold ÖSD-examinations (Austrian German diploma) and ZD (Zertifikat Deutsch).
